Trying to get information about the California State Military Reserve? Here are some links we use frequently. If you’ve got some you’d like tosuggest, please let us know. We also would like to hear about dead links.

The main official website for the CSMR. It includes information about how to enlist, copies of regulations, some history and messages from the commanding general.


The national organization of state defense forces and administrator of the Military Emergency Management Specialist program.


Soldiers in the CSMR have access to many online courses available through the U.S. Army. The site, Army Knowledge Online, is also a source for authorized CSMR personnel to obtain a usarmy.mil e-mail address.


Interested in learning about issues in the state defense movement across the U.S.? This website has an active forum about SDFs. Highly unofficial and opinionated, however.
